BRTS Rotary Table Bearing Storage Method
The storage method of BRTS rotary table bearing depends on whether you want short-term storage or long-term storage.
1. Short-term storage
Spray anti-rust grease: BRTS rotary table bearings will be coated with a layer of anti-rust grease as an anti-rust method before leaving the factory. If customers have needs, each bearing will be individually packaged according to customer needs.
Moisture-proof treatment: This depends on the storage environment of the bearings. If the warehouse is relatively humid, moisture-proof treatment is required.
Scientific placement: After the moisture-proof treatment is done, the bearing must be placed. Because too much water vapor will penetrate the bearing packaging and rust the bearing, the bearing cannot directly contact the ground, nor can it be soaked by water bubbles and rain. In addition, the outer packaging should be well protected between each bearing, and the corners and corners should also be supported, otherwise the stacking of bearings will cause deformation of the bearing. When we place the bearing, we should also handle it with care and place it stably to avoid deformation of the bearing due to improper placement.
2. Long-term storage
If the BRTS rotary table bearing is not used for a short period of time, it needs to be stored for a long time, and there are many problems to be considered in the long-term storage.
Warehouse temperature: Before leaving the factory, BRTS turntable bearings will be evenly coated with anti-rust oil. Whether the warehouse temperature is too low or too high, the anti-rust oil will deteriorate. We suggest that the room temperature should be controlled at 0 for long-term storage of BRTS turntable bearings. -25°C.
Humidity in the warehouse: If the humidity in the warehouse is too high, it will cause the rust of the turntable bearing. We suggest that the humidity in the warehouse should be controlled between 45% and 60%.
Warehouse environment: For long-term storage of turntable bearings, if necessary, try to store them separately. If they are to be stored together with other items, these items should not be chemicals, such as acids, alkalis, salts, etc. Turntable bearings should be placed away from the ground and heating pipes.
Regular inspection: During the storage process of the turntable bearing, we need to check the situation regularly, and it is recommended to check it once every 10-12 months. If the inspection finds that the oil seal package of the turntable bearing is rusty, we will repack it to prevent other substances from entering the bearing.
